ROV Observer

The Observer remote operation vehicle is an observation class vehicle characterised by a high degree of portability and internal batteries, allowing the system to operate in remote locations where it is difficult to access a power source. The entire system is transported in a single case weighing around 32 kg and with a range of about 3 hours without external power.

The control console features an 8.1” LCD monitor, an integrated video recorder (recording onto digital storage media via USB) and 2 video outputs for monitors or external recorders, among many other features.

AC-ROV

The Observer remote operation vehicle is an observation class vehicle characterised by a high degree of portability, is operable by only 1 person and can be put into operation very quickly due to the simplicity of the system (in less than 3 minutes).
The system also has a high degree of mobility (5 degrees of freedom), having 4 vectored horizontal thrusters that allow the ROV to move at the same speed in all directions.
It is currently available for operation by the general public at the Estremoz Science Centre.
